Red wine, 100% Monastrell D.O. Alicante, grapes procdedentes of the Finca Las Quebradas to about 500m on the level of the sea.
The vineyard lives on mother rock and the soils are stony “stone caliche” and poor in organic matter.


The grapes were fermented in small lots in square vats with indigenous yeasts and a gentle hand treading. The wine matured for 15 months in French oak barrel.

The winery Enrique Mendoza says that with this wine they have tried to pay homage to the province of Alicante; To its land, its sun and its people. Wine that presents with an aromatic fan where the memories of rosemary, lavender and thyme stand out, as well as certain balsamic touches. In the mouth it is powerful while remaining elegant and with smoky notes.

Red pillory with garnet flashes, medium-high layer. Memories to Mediterranean herbs (rosemary, lavender, thyme, esparto, small pine, etc.), balsamic that bring you freshness. Deep and mineral, with smoky notes and tobacco.
Mouth, large and powerful, while still being elegant. Sweet and fatty tannins.
Consumption now and up to 2022 in optimum conservation conditions.


The passion for wine gave birth to this project in the late 1970s. Since then, that passion has only grown. Bodegas Enrique Mendoza was born as a company in 1989, although the project was devised ten years earlier.
The concern of Enrique Mendoza, led him to buy, collect and invest in wine from other wineries as an amateur. Later, it decides to plant 2000 plants to continue the tradition of the Baixa Marina to produce wine for family consumption. These plantations, 25 years later, have been transformed into two wineries.
The winery of Alfaz del Pí has ​​4.5 hectares of Moscatel de Alejandría. In the aging room they have 1,400 barrels of the best French and American oak, and from there, their wines are bottled and positioned in national and international markets.

On the other hand, its other winery, located in the Finca Chaconero in Villena, is equipped with the best technology and facilities to ferment grapes from its 80 hectares of Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Petit verdot, Syrah And Monastrell.
