A drinkable and mature white of the style of the winemaker Michel Rolland, who is expert in signing wines that stand out for their roundness and smoothness. The intention of Rolland and Galarreta with this monovarietal of Verdejo is to carry out a rigorous work faithful with the variety and to elaborate a “Verdejo without hiding nothing”. The grapes used for this wine grow in vineyards located around the villages of Serrada and Rueda. Poor soils located at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level.

The must is cold macerated with the skins for 8 hours to enhance the aromas characteristic of the Verdejo variety. The fermentation is carried out at 16 ° C, which helps to maintain and intensify the aromas. The wine is kept in contact with its lees to give it structure through fatty acids and increase the volume and the glyceric sensations in the mouth.

Bright yellow straw color. Fresh, aromatic nose, touches of tropical fruit followed by melon, mineral notes and floral aromas. Complex and intense.
Fresh and round, with a predominance of tropical fruits and citrus notes. It presents an impeccable balanced acidity, excellent depth and volume, giving way to a persistent and abundant finish.

Rolland Galarreta, a project with two proper names.
Two cultures and two different styles of winemaking but with a common goal have united French winemaker and consultant Michel Rolland and the Spanish entrepreneur Javier Galarreta.
Both consider that Spain has an excellent terroir and a great experience to produce wines of great quality with real projection in the international markets.
The Rolland Galarreta project consists of three wines: a Rueda white, a Rioja red and a red Ribera del Duero. The wines have been designed by Michel Rolland and have their name on the label, a privilege that until now had not been given in the wines that the prestigious oenologist has elaborated in our country.
