Half-coat, bright red and bright, despite not being subjected to treatments or leaks. Very attractive color showing the origin of fresh grapes nothing overdone. Of average aromatic intensity but of great complexity. They emphasize the aromas of fresh red fruits: raspberry, cranberry, aromatic herbs of Mediterranean forest in conjunction with subtle notes made in its passage through barrel: toffee, menthol, vanilla and a wide range of spices. They make a harmonic set very nice and fresh.

Its entrance to the mouth is subtle, elegant and powerful. Wine very soft, refreshing and pleasant. The range of nuances is in line with what we anticipated the nose: fresh fruit along with toasted and menthol notes. It is a very long wine. It makes salivating and invites you to savor it calmly, for its complexity and long persistence full of pleasant memories

Bodegas Monastrell  was born as a personal project of the marriage formed by Alfonso and Mavi, natives of Bullas and heirs of a long agricultural family tradition, where the love of the land has become passion and enjoyment for the production of well made products.

Own vineyards, illusion and a solid project well designed are the foundations of this new winery, which in 2005 vinifies its first vintage.

The work team is joined by winemaker José Jiménez, who has gradually developed a style of winemaking that optimizes the exquisite production of monastrell reds, one of the best adapted to this unique natural environment.

From the first moment grapes have been produced under the guidelines and philosophy of Ecological Agriculture, by conviction and spirit of naturalness and environmental sustainability.
