Martinet Bru, a symbol in Priorat.

Red wine 60% Garnacha, 25% Syrah, 10% Merlot, 5% Cabernet sauvignon, D.O. Priorat.


Martinet Bru is the second reference of the Mas Martinet winery, a symbol in Priorat. The wine is made from grapes from a single farm called Mas Torrent, bordering Montsant and therefore with a very similar climate, but with licorella soils. Its situation characterizes it as the most drinkable option of the deep reds of the Priorat.
Vineyards located in the village area of the Masos de Falset, bordering with the D.O. Montsant. Liqueur, mainly stony.
It is vinified in foudres of used oak wood of 5,000 liters, working the wort but without touching much the skin to preserve the fruit and not to make an overextraction, 19 months of aging in used wooden tubs of 4,000 liters.

Cherry color with garnet rim. On the nose is perceived licorice black, licorice of palo, blackberries and rosemary. In the mouth it presents tasty, balanced, mature fruit, gentle step, sweet tannins. Optimal Consumption until 2020.


Mas Martinet, although they did not have a previous wine tradition, Josep Lluís Pérez and his family (Pérez Ovejero) began the Mas Martinet Viticultors project in 1986.
It was then a detailed study of the microclimate, the type of soil and the grape varieties that made them choose the Mas Martinet estate, located between Falset and Gratallops, a privileged area for the production of high quality wines.
The strains were planted, after that study, in an optimal place for their development, so that each variety had the type of soil and the appropriate orientation according to its genetic characteristics, have since worked with the native grapes Garnacha and Cariñena as with the Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah.
