Talking about Artadi is talking about one of the great wineries in Spain. In 1986 a group of winegrowers of the Rioja Alavesa to the front of which was Juan Carlos López de Lacalle decided to join their forces.
After almost 30 years of history, Artadi has become a group of three wineries: Bodegas y Viñedos Artadi in La Rioja, Bodegas and Artazu Vineyards in the Navarre denomination of origin and Bodegas and Vineyards El Sequé in the denomination of origin Alicante.
Since the end of 2015 the winery is not part of the Regulatory Council of the D.O. Ca. Rioja, although it has not abandoned the production of wines in the region.
Currently, its objective in Rioja is to offer wines that reflect as accurately as possible each one of the regions, towns, landscapes, vineyards and plots that in a diverse and differentiating way compose the framework of the great vineyard of this area, trying to endow it with all its wines coming from it of value, authenticity and differentiating character between them.
