La del Terreno Monastrell de Jumilla, pure terroir.

La del Terreno Monastrell is a red wine made in the D.O. Jumilla by Julieta Casado.

Julieta is an entrepreneur with the desire to carry out her recent project in the area. With 3.5 hectares of Monastrell vineyard grown in organic. Its purpose is to make a wine like those of before, like those of the terroir.

To obtain this wine, short macerations have been made, a fermentation without stemmed grapes in cement so that the winemaking brings freshness to it. Finally it is raised during 8 months in fudres of 500 liters used.

Purity, landscape, typicality. Plums, figs, blueberries, spices, aromatic herbs, fine minerality. Mediterranean Essence.

Julia started her wine production in 2013 and did so without financial resources and giving work to local people. These are bigger words.

During the year 2014 he leased three and a half hectares of Monastrell in Jumilla, it was his second season. A vineyard that has worked with their own hands  to obtain a marvellous wine, an irreverent wine.

La del Terreno ‘is a sincere wine. A idea that recovers the essence of the small domestic production of Murcia wine, adds talent and knowledge and goes for all.
