Red wine from la Rioja, made with Garnacha Tinta and Graciano varieties.
It is a project of Carlos Mazo and Isabel Ruiz, more known as “Vinos en voz baja”, residents of the area who grow the vines in a way that is respectful of the environment. The Garnacha is the main variety that they have in the vineyard, which perfectly adapts to the dry and Mediterranean climate of La Rioja Baja.
The vineyards are located in different villages of La Rioja Baja, Aldeanueva de Ebro, Alfaro, Calahorra and Autol. On a small table, they dump each box of grapes to take the wort away from te skins in the dried grapes in order to avoid the fermentation due to the excess of alcohol. It is made on uncovered barrels and from this point, pigeages are carried out (They sink the hat formed by grape, skin due to carbonic acid released) various times a day. They press the grapes within two weeks, conveying the wines to barrels where the wine will be conserved until the bottling process.
