Red wine 100% Tempranillo made from old vines with about 75 years of age that impresses by its balance and the extraordinary definition of the best grapes of the Rioja Alavesa. A great red that has always been characterized by its penetrating aromas, its complexity in the mouth and round tannins, it feels very gentle and well educated

Manual harvest in boxes of 15 kilograms. Selection of clusters and berries. Vinification in open wooden tanks with cold maceration for 24-48 hours and fermentation for 10-12 days with two daily steps and a small overdrive. Malolactic in barrel. Aging 15 months in new French oak barrels.

Optimum to consume until 2023. To enjoy with grilled vegetables, grilled fish, grilled chops, garlic rabbit and  duck breast.

To talk about Artadi is to talk about one of the great wineries in Spain. In 1986 a group of winegrowers of the Rioja Alavesa to the front of which was Juan Carlos López de Lacalle decided to join their forces.

Since the end of 2015 the winery is not part of the Regulatory Council of the D.O. Ca. Rioja, although it has not abandoned the production of wines in the region. Currently, its objective in Rioja is to offer wines that reflect as accurately as possible each one of the regions, towns, landscapes, vineyards and plots that in a diverse and differentiating way compose the framework of the great vineyard of this area, trying to endow it with All its wines coming from it of value, authenticity and differentiating character between them.
