Plaer means “pleasure ” in Catalan , it is that this wine seeks to express all the pleasure and identity as special as the Priorat area. It comes from a selection of beautiful and rare old vines average 50 years located on hillsides.
Red Wine a blend of Garnacha and Cariñena, The wine, Plaer, is sourced from old vines in a diversity of villages throughout Priorat. It matured in new and used French oak barrels for one year.
Intense cherry color with garnet edge.It has a savory nose with some unusual notes of paprika and charcuterie intermixed with peat, graphite, Morello cherries, plums and something bright, akin to blueberries.
The palate is medium to full-bodied with good balance, very fine, abundant and slightly grainy tannins.

The project of Albert in the Priorat is called Ritme Celler, The Winery Ritme Celler, newly built , is located in the municipality of Vilella Alta, north and near mythical towns in the area as Gratallops or Porrera . In this environment they grow especially wonderful old vines Grenache and Carignan ( Samso ) whose ages range usually between 35 and 80 years.
