El transistor, a high-end wine of Rueda.

With a very limited production, The transistor is the high-end wine from D.O Rueda of Telmo Rodriguez.

Made from the native variety of the area : Verdejo 100 % , from the place El Monte, four hectares of old vines planted on slopes of chalky and gravelly soil .


The vines are conducted in V. Handpicked .The fermentation takes place in fudres and barrels of different sizes and containers of concrete and stainless steel using selected and native yeasts . Aged for 9 months in barrels .


Complex and clean nose, citrus notes , green apple, pear combined with herbaceous notes. well marked on the palate with a spicy , fresh and clean touch with good acidity, long finish and persistent fruit.

After his time at the family farm , Remelluri , Telmo Rodriguez established the Society of Wine Telmo Rodriguez in 1994 , currently it produces wines in eight different DOs following the company philosophy of producing wines only from native varieties of original areas as well as the recovery of forgotten vineyards .
