A sweet red, Monastrell Dulce is bottled at 16% alcohol with 175 grams of residual sugar after aging for six months in oak barrels. This wine has the classic tomato and black olive aromas on a very powerful nose that also shows ripe black fruit aged and dried figs. The palate is smooth and moderately sweet with the classic Monastrell tannins, that would go well with dark chocolate desserts, red fruits and foie.
