Miraval, a Rosé star of the Provence

Chateau Miraval is surrounded by ancient forests, olive groves, vineyards and natural water sources. The wonderful Provencal climate and Mediterranean life style fully combine to create a sort of enchanting oasis. And in this idyllic setting comes a rosé intended to evoke glamor and Joie de vivre equally.

Somewhat overshadowed by its current owners, which not many people know is that Miraval is located in an important historical site. Exactly it is located at the foot of the Via Aurelia, an extensive route which was built to facilitate the Roman expansion in the 3rd century B.C. He later became a Celtic settlement and after the Roman occupation, the property housed a monastic order and served as noble house of the French Court in the fourteenth century. In 1970 the history of this château lives its most interesting moment from an artistic point of view.

The renowned pianist and composer Jacques Loussier is the property and turns it into a recording studio: Le Studio Miraval. Pink Floyd, Sting, Sade and The Cranberries would become regulars and would record there as legendary albums like Pink Floyd The Wall.

This artistic spirit seems that served as inspiration for some form of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Miraval is currently his summer residence and indeed, the site chosen to be his famous secret wedding. Associated with Perrin family they have given a boost to Miraval interesting as a place dedicated to the arts, good food and great wines. And they do not appear, since they keep a low profile and let the Perrin are those bearing the roost.

Miraval Rosé 2015 is a wine of class and finesse, that should be known regardless of the halo of glamor that surrounds him. For the fans of Provence will be a tempting candy, perfect to welcome the long-awaited good weather.
