From Ribadavia (Orense) where treixadura grape is the queen, born “Adega do Moucho” by the hand of Jose Manuel Martinez Juste (winemaker) and Francisco Garcia Perez (winemaker), lovers of their land whose concern is reflected in the development of this wine, of which only 3,700 bottles are produced a luxury.
Made with 90% of treixadura grapes and 10% contributed by the albariño, loureira, godello and caiño varieties. 13.5% vol. under the O.D. Ribeiro.
The wine was cold macerated for 6 hours with 16 ° and performing fermentation aged in oak barrels Alier, Nevers and Hungarian for 8 months.
Lovely view with golden yellow hue and a half. Tear fine and dense. Unctuous stirring.
The nose is complex, clean and elegant, displaying notes of white fruit and yellow bone. Roasted subtle due to its aging in oak. Floral notes (chamomile) and elegant aromas of pastries and citrus notes.
In the mouth it is sweet, not cloying, very fresh, and nothing “simple”, showing excellent acidity and smoothness. Fatty envelope, filling the mouth with sensations and well integrated wood work together the tasty sensations.
It is long and “addictive” an aftertaste where fruit and aging notes blend with subtle citrus and mineral showing an elegant bitter finish.
Really great wine that will surely improve in the bottle due to its good acidity and structure that will not be overlooked.
